ABOUT THE ROLE: 

As a Veterinary Technician at NCC, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring top-notch care for our feline patients. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Assisting with feline-specific medical procedures, diagnostics, and treatments, including blood draws, radiographs, and dental cleanings 

• Safely handling and gently restraining cats using low-stress, feline-friendly techniques 

• Administering medications, vaccinations, and fluids as directed by the veterinarian, with a keen understanding of feline pharmacology 

• Educating cat owners on feline nutrition, behavior, and preventative care to ensure lifelong health and well-being 

• Maintaining a clean, quiet, and stress-free hospital environment tailored to the unique needs of feline patients 

• Supporting the team with inventory management and ensuring essential supplies are stocked and ready for use 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 

• Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required 

• A passion for feline medicine and low-stress handling techniques 

• Strong communication and teamwork skills 

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 

• Reliability, professionalism, and compassion for both patients and clients
